What I do: I run workshops and research sessions to make better design decisions for humans and the environment. My methods depend on the problem at hand - need a survey to gain a baseline understanding of your problem to solve? Eager to get feedback and co-design? I can help!
I'm at my best when I get to translate research insights into experiences that make sense for humans, environments, and systems.
I'm currently located in Baltimore, Maryland in the United States.

I'm comfortable with generative and evaluative interview techniques, including eye-tracking and other usability methods.
Once the research is complete, then I provide writing and content guidance directly in design files (my preference) to start concepting the ideal experience.
The interaction layer often needs distinct consideration before turning into an interface. Diagramming with modern tooling and collaboratively with partners is where I thrive. Sometimes I get the user interface piece right; sometimes I benefit from collaboration with visual specialists.
Analyzing & synthesizing data from large and small surveys often helps to pinpoint what needs further exploration or attention in an experience. I'm adept at data tooling to generate graphs and reports as well.
I've provided information architecture services for several clients, notably John's Hopkins University and Guardian Life. Understanding how information can work as an object is part of the process for usability.
My graduate school research at The University of Baltimore explored implementing AI interfaces to support graphing alcohol usage and initial prompt engineering exploration.
